Weed is not an addicted Substance?

I should probably ask that to pot smokers why they can't stop using drugs. For your information, niccotine is ADDICTIVE and there are studies that show people have a harder time trying to quit smoking than stop using drugs.

So there.

Alright you dipshit, let me enlighten you once more. There is a big difference between habit forming and addicting. Studies have shown that a human's body cannot become dependent on marijuana, therefore it isn't addicting. When a pot user hasn't smoked pot in a while, he/she does not become shaky, irritable, or sick. Sure, the pothead wishes he/she could get high to get away from his/her fucked up sober life, but that's another issue (hence, pot being more habit forming than addicting ).

Come on, when have you heard of somebody sucking dick for weed (other than drunk sorority chicks)?

Have you seen a person without any cigars having the same behavior as the above mention. You can cure you drug addiction but smoking stays there and there is a desire to keep smoking because of nicottine. Two different things but smoking, above else, is addicted and bad for health.

Marijuana addiction is a phenomenon experienced by more than 150,000 individuals each year who enter treatment for their proclaimed addiction to marijuana. Marijuana addiction is characterized as compulsive, often uncontrollable marijuana craving, seeking, and use, even when the individual knows that marijuana use is not in his best interest.

Interesting point, and what the article says seems to be true in certain people. I don't use it, nor am I promoting its usage . However, I have seen a big difference in a "marihuana addiction" between a responsible adult who casually uses it and a deppressed, emotionally unstable person who mistakingly believes it will cure his/her problems. I seriously believe the symptoms mentioned in the above link are experienced by the latter.
