I just noticed it says on the EC site that they'll be filming today and tomorrow on the 400 block - 700 block to be exact. That's less than two blocks from me  I'll have to check this out later after I pickup my little brother from school.

I was told that there were actual USMC recruiters from the El Centro office trying to recruit extras who were playing to role of Marines during the filming of the parade on Main St.
How pathetic is that? |

They were filming at the Holtville airstrip, the dry lake bed near superstitions (North of Plaster City), and inside the old Vons in El Centro. Mr. Foxx is/was staying at a home located to the West of Southwest high school in El Centro. Plus the parade in El Centro.

There is not old Vons in El Centro. Vons has been located in the same building since it opened its doors. I think you mean the old old funiture store located behind Kragen's. (I can't remember the name at the moment something Myers). Well, that location is where the production studio is working out of. They have been there since they came down.
I heard that Jamie Foxx is paying the owner of the house in which is staying $5,000 a month. Must be a nice house. |

I heard 6Gs and the house is located around the McCabe area. The owner of the house is some lady who owns a picture frame business in front of Coyote Wells.
Supposedly a few days after the Oscars, Jamie Foxx invited over P.Diddy, Chris Rock, Halle Berry, Prince and even Morgan Freeman for a private party at this house. Rumor is they partied like it was 1999. |
