| Just a heads up, they're gonna be filming down Main st. tomorrow. If any of you are interested in being an extra, i'm sure they'll need some cause I heard they're doing some kind of parade scene. Can anyone else confirm this? |

I don't know if this is related, but I saw a some workers putting together a stage/platform in Bucklin Park during lunch today. Might be for something completely different though. |

That's most likely for the Children's Fair that will be held there this Saturday. |

| What I heard was that they will be filming the desert scenes in the Laguna Salada in Mex. The director said that La Salada is exactly like the Iraqi desert. |

Here is something that was kept in secret. Jarhead was shooting some of their scenes on Main street in el centro today Thursday, February 24th at 5am this morning. The city of El Centro annouced that some streets were going to be closed but they didn't say for what becasue it was top secret. The Chamber of commerce made people swear on their lives that they wont tell anybody about this.
Jarhead shoot a scene were there was a parade on Main Street.
So there. |

in my defence, they told me that at 8.45 yesturday and I annouced that on my show even though it was suppose to be a secret. So I gave the news 8 hours before.
So yes, I was the first with the inside story. But really, if i knew that before I would have told you.
