If multi-million dollar salaries aren't enough to keep an athlete from rushing a fan in the stands (no matter what the reason), then fuck 'em!
If a fan can't enjoy a game and a beer without throwing shit at the players, then fuck 'em!

As long as there is no physical contact between the fan and player, then it's fair game. Getting paid millions to play in professional sports isn't exactly an excuse for being attacked by spectators.
Did you happen to read the history on this particular fan?
Everyone must admit that the KO punch by Jermaine O'Neal was very nice. If you're a fan and you step on to the court to try and intimidate the players, you deserve to go down. Sometimes twice. |
