Just kidding.

But with Philadelphia, San Francisco and now Taiwan planning to provide free wireless Internet access to its citizens, we might see this become a new trend in major cities who can afford it. I can image this connectivity being somewhat limited, but it could enable the entire community to access certain information online much easier, especially for educational purposes.

Wouldn't it be nice if Calexico was a test site for the deployment of some new and useful technology?

Well. believe it or not... they're some plans to create HOT-SPOTS in schools @ CUSD so students/teachers can bring their laptops with wireless access and have access to 'public' internet.
