ITs true!

He has lost two fights in a row which proves that the guy has lost the Eye of the Tiger.

The eyes of the Tigher is:

Risin' up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive

Today, De La Hoya has:

trade your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive

Oscar forgot in those two fights that he has lost that:

It's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he's watchin' us all with the eye of the tiger

It will be a long time before Oscar can get up and remember that:

It's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight
Risin' up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night
And he's watchin' us all with the eye of the tiger

Yet he can still pound you into submission at will and makes more money than you and all your friends and family members combined (apart from any corrupt ones that may exist).

He's not quite on the decline as Julio Cesar Chavez was on, but he is no longer the dominant fighter that once existed. Although I'll always root for him, ever since he put that rebel from Oxnard, CA in his place.

ODLH will fight again and be a success. Record-wise and/or financially.

I Just don't see it happening.

De La Hoya's Career is in a big hole. He lost three titles and the Eye of the tiger.

Maybe he should retire and work on making new stars with Golden Boy Promotions.

I think he is done.

What exactly is this "eye of the tiger" and if he really lost it, where do you think he may have misplaced it?

Once again radiodude opens his stupid mouth on a subject he knows little or nothing about.

First off, the only way that DLH could have beat hopkins was to stick and move. hopkins was way to strong, he is a natural middle weight or pretty close to it.

Next, It was obvious to everyone that DLH lost quite a bit of his power as he went up in weight class, six classes actually.

Finally, all the competiong that was good at the weight below was pissed that DLH would get more money then them, alot more, about 20 million to their 8 million. So these guys, like Trinidad, Mayorga, Vargas, Mosely, Wright, all very good fighters decided to get together and fight each other so that DLH would not get all the money. Mosely for example was pissed becuase on the rematch fight, in which DLH was coming as a challenger after losing the first match, DLH got like 14 million more than Mosely, regardless mosely had to take the fight because he could not even get close to that much money without DLH.

So any how these fighters decided they are going to fight each other, all of which would be, or are going to be very good fights, the problem is, who besides boxing fans would pay money to see these cats fight? Now, how many would pay to watch DLH.

No Oscar is not done, you guy's have to remember that Oscar has been ambitious since he first started boxing. He is the only fighter ambitious or crazy enough to go up to 6 different weight classes. I think that deep down inside Oscar knew that he wasn't going to beat Hopkins, but he was going to go ahead and give it a try (plus take home about 45 million dollars). The only bad thing that I could say about Oscar is that he lacks that Mexican warrior heart that many great mexican boxing legends have demonstrated throught the years. Also, if it was true that Hopkin's upper to the rib cage was that powerful, why was Oscar able to hit the floor so many times in anger and be able to give an interview without any apparent problems? When a boxer is hit to that region, he has trouble grasping his breath, yet Oscar didn't show those effects.

Mars, Mars, Mars!!!!!

He got a lot of money, im not discussing that but what is money without three titles. He was knock out!

What is that paycheck worth rigth now?

Nothing. He lost the eye of the tiger because because as the song says

" you trade you passion for glory, don't loose the grip of the dreams of past you must fight to keep it alive"

DLH trade his passion for a Music carrear and a reality show. He was living in glory and lost his passion.

Two loses in a row proves it!!

Listen good you fucking retard. First, off if you had made some what of any type of valid argument in your first post it was missed by every one except those with a forrest gump like IQ like yourself.

Eye of the tiger you fucking idiot, if he had lost it you would have seen a DLH in the same condition as in the Sturm fight, but DLH was lean and cut up, I really fucking doubt some one who is fighting for a pay check will work that hard for a fight, I mean he is getting paid regardless.

Also do not respond you fucking retard, I am done with you, pinche pendejo. Ranting Bang Head Chinga tu...
