And before you go on and on about how I live in a dump or how I have a piece of shit car and how I am jealous of you etc., I suggest you read the whole Goodfellaz discussion. Hopefully, it'll help you in making more intelligient posts so you won't like like such an arrogant, pompous, yet completely insecure and ignorant asshole.

I thought these were forums where everyone can express their thoughts, suggestions, feelings, and or comments. So simply by us defending what we believe in and how we decided to go upon defending ourselves means that we are "such arrogant, pompous, yet completely insecure and ignorant assholes"?

why don't you just post " carnicerodegiles rules and regulations on how to reply in these forums to be accepted by him"

on a side note back to somewhat of the topic of this thread:

I can care less what everyone listens to. I pretty much like everything from George Strait, to the Beatles, to Metallica, to lil rob. Music is Music and if it moves you, then blast it. I just don't live my lifestyle in the way that rappers glorify it. I don't wear big platinum chains, I don't spend thousands of dollars on spinning wheels, I can careless if you have some corvosier. Liking music is one thing, feeling and understanding the message of the song is one thing, now trying to act like you had it rough, when you lived in imperial valley is another. This is probably one of the safest places in california to live in. I just think it's kinda dumb when people go around tattooing names of cities or hoods on your body, when most of the time you don't even own property there. Get a job, go to school, work, help people, uplift the community! Teach your kids to go to church and go to school and not end up being future dependents of the people that do work! it's kinda dumb to compare your life to a rappers hard times in logan, compton, watts, brooklyn, whatever...... when you know damn well you never went through that shit at all, and if you did, then you should be smart and make a change in your life to give the best for you children.

Enough of this "take back Aztlan" nonsense. Welcome to the new world and move on.

Funny how they "claim" we should take back aztlan, GOD I hope not, fucking california would end up looking like Tijuana!

It is funny how not much has changed on this web site since I have been gone. More people, same ignorant, brainwashed opinions. Some of you need to stop living your lives through MTV.

If we, the true owners of this land, take back the true Aztlan, then it would become a haven for all Mexicanos.

All these youths fight and kill themselves because they lack an identity. Aztlan can give them this identity they so desperately need.

Tijuana is a beautiful city that has been corrupted by White Corporate America. It is full of art and culture, however, this is never seen.

As much as you want to become my arch-nemesis, I totally agree with you on this one. And really, don't take my other post to the heart, as it was not directed towards you.

My bad, I'll make sure next time i'm going to rosarito i'll stop and take pictures of myself in these cultural places you talk about like "adelitas", all the HEM tags, and with all the roadkill that has been there for months without the city removing it's cultural landmarks!

u know what? FUCK CHICANO rap...this is my personal opinion, so before anyone catches feelings, gimme some space....

chicano rap is supposed to be a branch of hip-hop right? man, i've heard islandic rappers who can barely speak a word of english rap and sound better than most of the chicano rap artists today. its been said before here, music is about spreading a message, touching people (not like michael jackson), or simply getting something off your chest in a way that other people can enjoy it, not "te pongo una pinche granada en los dientes puto!" that shit is just garbage....

now, you want to talk about lyrics, trust me homeboy, lil rob, sancho, fuck it, any of these clowns couldnt think of a good metaphor if it was engraved in their brain. chicano rap isnt for chicano's, its for cholos who dont know any better....

get at me if you beg to differ....

Haterz. why so much animosity towards Chicano youth trying to express neighborhood music? Live and Let Live. Calmada la venada porque se cansa la ganza.
