On my last trip to the beautiful city of Culiacan, Sinaloa, I made a visit to Jesus Malverde's shrine, took a few pictures, saw a blessed rat, and purchased a Jesus Malverde replica bust. I made the trip back to Calexico with this relic in hand all while enduring a 20+ hour trip on the bus (a method of transportation I will never take again).
It was Malverde himself who allowed me to keep my expensive leather jacket as an inspection officer accompanied by teenage soldiers wielding AK-47s inquired about it. I owe you one JM.
Crossing into the US of A, I realized that I had to repay the man who has performed many miracles in life to the needy, as well those "other folk." I had decided that I would setup a satellite shrine in the city of Calexico for those who are in need to pay visit. A place where mariachi are to perform once a life is saved and gifts to engulf this haven.
It is all ready to commence, with only the location being unknown. Please help by suggesting the right location for La Capilla de Jesus Malverde No. 2. |

| I think a good place would be right in front of SDSU in the grass area. Many people pass through there which include city workers, students, and people going to and from City Hall. I was going to suggest right in the middle of Kennedy Gardens Park but just think about all the cholos that wouldn't touch their heart before vandalizing Malverde with incoherent graffitti. |

| Try setting it up in your house or someone's front yard. Then it is sure to get noticed. You could also ask the people that live off of HWY 98 behind Mains (you know them, the people who set up the HUGE nativity scene during Christmas). They might be interested and it would definitely get a lot of exposure especially since it is close to Sto. Tomas. Actually, maybe Sto. Tomas or Las Palmas wouldn't be a bad place to set it up either. |

98 years ago our beloved Malv left this earth.
I post this message as I ready to party at his shrine tonight. |
