Because "afternoon" and "evening" don't roll out of the tongue that well... |

Hold on a sec. My mom wouldn't let me eat any meat around this time when I was a kid and only fish. And when we had fish, she wouldn't let me drink any milk.
WTF is up with the fish/milk connection? |

It's one of those Mexican old wives' tales. My mom used to think the same thing too. It is believed that drinking milk right after eating fish was going to give you diarrhea or maybe even some stomach disease.
The reason I don't do it is because I think it's simply a disgusting combination. |

I went to Mains (with the best playground dragon, putos!) and I don't remember them serving milk around this time. Then again, my memory sucks, but I'm pretty sure they respected this Lent-type observance otherwise there'd have been lawsuits filed left and right about food poisoning by moms in nearby neighborhoods. |

Why do radar detectors need to be placed on the windshield?
Seriously, if they don't work any where else but on the windshield then how will they detect the around the mountain hiding CHP? |
