LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- SCORE International, the World’s foremost desert racing sanctioning body, announced today that November’s 37th Annual Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 desert race will be televised on the new “Jeep World of Adventure Sports” show on the NBC Sports network.
In an unprecedented agreement between SCORE and Aura360, the show’s producers in association with NBC Sports, the world’s most famous desert race will air as a one hour special in December on the new-action-adventure sports series that debuted on April 10 of this year.
This year’s legendary desert classic, to be held Nov. 17-20 in Mexico, will start in the northern part of the majestic Baja California peninsula in Ensenada along the Pacific Ocean in Baja California and finish in the south in La Paz along the Sea of Cortez in Baja California Sur.

| This should help Baja's economy. I guess it only took 37 years for the white brass at NBC or any other network to figure out that there's a demand for the Baja 1000. |
