How about discounts for Calecia.com members?
You never know, stranger things have happened
Well, I went to edit my post, but I'm not allowed to, so here you go.

As for your question, Rack Room likes to be a member of the community. We recently did a fundraising gig with Make-A-Wish, for example. Although I can't speak for the company as a whole, I can be sure that they will want to make an impact. Since we are going into a new market - hell, a new state even, perhaps the folks at Calecia.com could talk to the Rack Room folks and get some coupons flowing.

never a damn bookstore. what a bunch of asses. doesn't the imperial valley read? stupid mall.

Of course the valley reads! The fact that the mall doesn't have a bookstore is no big deal. Why do you want a Barns and Noble at the mall if we have 5th Avenue Books in El Centro?

That bookstore is great and you can get any selection of new books that are very intresting. If we were to have a Barns and nobles or any other bookstore in the valley or the mall I would still be loyal to 5th Avenue Books because that is were I usually by them.

So if you guys want to buy a good book then go to 5th avenue books and enjoy your reading.

homofagface.
no, i'm kidding. i'm just going along with the trend of name-calling here on Calecia.com.
i've never been to 5th ave. books. does it have a decent selection? more than a bunch of christian conservative shit? i should go cos it would be shitty for me to talk about supporting local merchants and then not doing it if some chain bookstore came in.

There are very good books there. I don't think they have christian books there but you should totally go there.

Another store that the mall has is one called Game Stop. Well, GameTop is coming to Calexico and it will come with Subway, Starbucks, Cingular, Verizon, Little Ceasars and so on.

So there.

Does anyone personally know what is up with the rest of the restaurants in the mall food court? It's been two months now and there are only three restaurants. Four if you include the creamery.

I e-mailed the mall management company and they claim that the delays are all due to construction, but that doesn't seem right. Even Subway seemed to have almost opened, then it just got boarded back up. I saw a "coming soon" sign for Carl's Jr. Yeah, that's perfect mall food.

Pretty shitty when a mall only has three places to eat in the food court and two are asian (serving almost the same thing, but not really).

I went to the B and B at the mall and got shitty service, I walked out because I was waiting for about 8 minutes to get any type of service and I was totally ignored. The sad thing is that I have already have a boycot on the one in Calexico, now the one on the mall, my only hope in the valley is the new one in El Centro. I hope I do not get let down, because I do really like the food there.
