Jesus Christ! You ever noticed going to shop at Wal-Mart is like going to war? I swear everytime I go to Wal-Mart, I kiss my wife goodbye because it could be the last time I see her.
I hate going to Wal-Mart, all the customer's there are f'ing cows man. They just stand there blocking the aisles, and you say excuse me, and they don't move, so you kind of bump the with your cart just slightly and they give you a dirty look.
Then after spending 15 minutes to get from one side of the aisle to the other, you then can't find what you're looking for so you try to find an "associate" there and you see them from a distance moving really fast as though to avoid contact with anybody.
Then after half and hour of looking for an associate, you the stumble upon what you're looking for, so you decide it's time to pay. You spend another 3 hours in the speedy checkout line, because not only is the checker really really slow at what she's doing, but some "chicalona" has neglected to read the sign that says "8 items or less and has already begun to unload her 2 shopping carts full of stuff.
I don't want to imagine what the place is like when it becomes Super Wal-Mart. |

It's insulting, as an employee of any business, when the employer comes up with "nice" ways of refering to employees, so that they feel like they're part of the company. Instead of paying millions of dollars to an ad agency, to come up with something catchy like "associates", give everyone a raise. Instead of giving every employee all these smiley face buttons, and buttons with catch phrases that they paid millions for, give them something they can really use, like money or a paid holiday. Give employees incentives like stock or really good holiday discounts to buy presents for family, or good bonuses. I used to work in a large electronics store that used these kinds of names for employees, and everyone hated it.
It's insulting to think that the people that come up with these names think that they're tricking you into thinking you're more important than you are and that you have some sort of say in the company. YOU DON'T! |

| I can't wait to go shopping at walmart during the holidays. Instead of 3 hours at the quick check out it's five. I like walmart in regular towns, that aren't right next to the line. That way you can look around all day and not worry about thirty people begining in line ahead of you. |

| As for being an associate i don't appreciate the comments Guest made. I was an associate at target, dillards, and macy's. I was very important in all decision making. From deciding wether to fold shirts or cleaning out the dressing rooms. I WAS APART OF SOMETHING!![/quote] |

I understand what you are saying about wal-mart, it is a war zone. To only think how it will be when it becomes a super wal-mart....... gross. Not only do you have to fight the 1,000s of mexcains speaking in tounges, you'll also be finding eggs and meat products in the shoe department. Can't wait for that exciting day to come. Its going to be like Christmas! |

| The worst part about wal-mart is that it's really the only place i like going into to buy shit. That and vons are the only stores in the valley that don't smell funny |

My favorite place was Fed-Mart. It was the only place where you could buy fresh shrimp, GI Joes, play a game of Iron Stewart's Off Road, rent a movie and get some BBQ ribs on the way out. Those days are gone....
