That's the United States of America.

You, and everyone else, have the right to eat as they please. Whether it's tacos, hamburgers, baklava, noodles, dog or rocks. You eat and shit what you want.

This is what freedom is truly all about.

I see Mr. TheChrist is insisting on defending his country, yet I recall him saying that there's no way in hell he would go to iraq to fight for his beloved freedom which he's talking about in this post. He doesn't wan't C.com to be in spanish, yet he said that he would go over to Mexico if the Draft were ever reinstated. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmm

I won't go out and fight in a foreign country, but if the United States was invaded, I would in my homeland.

I would say that the real "gringo" food is a lot of the stuff you find in Southern cooking. Chicken and dumplings, BBQ, pot roasts, meat loafs, grits, pies, salads with mayonnaise based dressings, etc. Overall though, in a country like this it's practically impossible that most American dishes won't have a flavor influence from another country.

And how is baklava a Jewish food?

If you would have made your question clear to start with, you wouldn't have received a smart ass remark.

I don't believe there is truly an American (United States) cuisine that is legitimate. There are hot dogs, hamburgers and so forth, but many of those really originated in foreign lands, just like the people who reside here as well (pre-Columbian era).

The same could also be said about Canadian cuisine.

Taco Bell has got to be a United States cuisine.

You serve that shit to someone from Mexico, and they're all like "Que es esto?"
