"The Piano Teacher" and "The City of Lost Children" are two French flicks that are really cool, yet pretty bizarre.

I really don't know what to think of movies like Midnight Cowboy and Easy Rider. Maybe making movies on drugs isn't such a good idea. They both start out ok but then they try to show what it's like to be high and I lose track of what the fuck is going on.

yeah those movies were good...I enjoy watching easy rider about once a month.

12 Monkeys was inspired by an early 1960's experimental French film, La Jetee (recommended).

I just saw this movie called Morvern Callar. I have to say it's a very artistically done movie, although it contains almost no dialogue. It is mostly visual, and you can actually understand what is going on without listening to the dialogue( you won't understand what they are saying anyway). Pretty weird, and I think anyone who likes bizarre art films should watch it.
