To start most tacos are running about 10 pesos now.
Acatlan is still good but witht he increase in price there comes a decress in taco size
Ocotlan is ok although the tortilla de harina isn't as good as Acatlan. They have tripa now and the taco size is good.
501 is descent but they have a hotdog cart so you can vary which is a good thing. |

| the best tacos in mex have to be Sarita's. Located in front of UABC on montejano, those tacos are the shit. They are open 7 days a week outside next to the sidewalk, ghetto style but yet they are the shit they close at 3am, so u gotta be there on time but i truly reccomend those tacos they are fuckin good and the cooks there are awesome paisas to the heart:) |

I have to completely agree with Mexicanrasta.
The past times I've gone to Mexicali to dine tacos, it has been at Sara's Antojitos. I am addicted to their tacos al pastor which are always crispy and juicy. Their sopes con carne asada are a must have.
Sara's offers a variety of salsas as well. Their darkest sauces are delicious. I hope they never say anything about the large amount of cebollitas I always grab. |

If you want some good tacos de pollo, I suggest Pollos La Cachanilla. It's located on Calzada de Las Americas like 2 corners after you make the turn on Justo Sierra...they have ordenes de pollo or tacos and also of pastor |

Acatlan is good, but not the best for the longest time. I do go here often though.
Cyclon I've had. Basic, simple tacos that I wouldn't go to on my own.
Sara's #1 for me. I do miss La Carreta de Lichi though.

Hmmm if you got the bankroll or the desire it might not be a bad move to open your own little taco stand/restaurant and brink your own tacos. |
