Best two out of three online match on Battlefield 1942, a few members from Calecia versus a few from ECgaming what do you guys think?

I now have a good reason to buy Battlefield 1942.

The kids at EC Gaming are feeling pretty confident about defeating Calecia.com. Some have even taken it a little personal. Little do they know the majority of us are actual WWII veterans.

That would make you guys around... eighty or so? Suspicious

But getting back on track, I'm glad you're all enthusiastic about it ,and we look forward to seeing you online in the near feature...and we'll be glad to "Take you to bitch school."

We have four in our team as of right now, three of which (including me) have only started playing less than a week.

For anybody whos getting the game, focus on these three maps

    Berlin- (Tanks essential)
Wake Island- (Fly your way to victory)
    Stalingrad- (Sniper heaven)

Maybe we should give you about a year or two to practice. Battlefield 1942 is one of my favorite games.

Also, I'm not too sure we can allow revramrod play. If you're going to have a chance, he should be restricted from any computer while the match is going on.

I went to Costco, Target and Staples today looking for a good deal on Battlefield 1942 and the lowest price was $25.99 at Costco. Next to this game was Battlefield Vietnam for $37.99. I don't own either game, but if I were to buy one it would be Battlefield Vietnam.

So it got me thinking... we could have more players on each side if we put together a match between Calecia.com and EC Gaming with Return To Castle Wolfenstien: Enemy Territory. This multi-player game is released at no cost, so anyone can play it without paying for a license fee.

I'm downloading it right now.

There are a few download mirrors listed on the RTCW Web site. Navigate to the Enemy Territory section and look for the archives.

Make sure you get the full version (client) as well as the 1.02 patch.

You can always try FileMirrors if you don't want to wait in any queues.
