Maybe we should give you about a year or two to practice. Battlefield 1942 is one of my favorite games.

Once we get a good hang of the controls, interface, and learn the maps, we shouldn't be too far behind, from there on it's your skills with the mouse and keyboard that's gonna win the battle, and years of quake and unreal have conditioned me well.

Also, I'm not too sure we can allow revramrod play. If you're going to have a chance, he should be restricted from any computer while the match is going on.

That puppy dog? I'm not scared.

I went to Costco, Target and Staples today looking for a good deal on Battlefield 1942 and the lowest price was $25.99 at Costco. Next to this game was Battlefield Vietnam for $37.99. I don't own either game, but if I were to buy one it would be Battlefield Vietnam.

So it got me thinking... we could have more players on each side if we put together a match between Calecia.com and EC Gaming with Return To Castle Wolfenstien: Enemy Territory. This multi-player game is released at no cost, so anyone can play it without paying for a license fee.

We could definitely go that direction, just not gonna be the same were you can pilot planes, boats, and automobiles...I was looking forward to taking out your entire team riding in a Armored Personnel Carrier with a cleverly placed landmine.

You better bring a tape recorder, 'cause you wont have time to take down notes.

Wake Island- (Fly your way to victory)

Yeah, you shouldn't be worried about playing against me, considering the fact that I've been playing Battlefield 1942 (and subsequently, DesertCombat) every chance I get for the past two years.

You may be an excellent player, but the chain is only as strong as the weakest link my friend, which brings me to the question, who's gonna be on team Calecia.com?

No matter what the count, count me and my sniper rifle in.

For sure, Spic-ole, so consider this chain strong.

Which brings us to who can participate in the matches: the maximum amount of team members will be set by the team with the smallest amount of players. For example, if we have 6 players and you can only round up 4, it'll be 4 on 4. Team will be fixed, and only long-time members of either site will be allowed to participate, so pick your players wisely, 'cause you're gonna be stuck with them. Otherwise, what's to stop me from getting friends from the Battlefield 1942 servers I frequent regularly to sign up to Calecia.com and join our team, right? Right.

Oh, by the way, maps will be agreed upon by both teams: replace Wake Island with El Alamein, and Stalingrad with Bocage.

Couldn't agree more.

Those are no problem, especially El Alamein, where i've actually been practicing my piloting skills all this week in.

Okay, so when is this going to happen? Any time after 5:00pm is good for me.

That depends on everyone else.

Let me know when you've got your server up, though. I'll swing on by and see what you guys are up to.
