| How did those of you that are married or engaged propose to your loved one? I was thinking that since it's almost easter, I could take her egg hunting and I could put the ring in one of the eggs. Any suggestions? |

| I don't know about that dude. Egg hunting? Where are you going to do that? Doesn't sound very romantic. Can't you go away for a weekend or get a fancy dinner somewhere? Or you could set something romantic up at your place. |

This is how I did it. I decided to do it on a day that she would least expect it, so I picked to do it on my birthday. She usually gets so caught up in making things special for me that she would have never seen it coming. We went to San Diego for the weekend. At night we went to dinner at our favorite place in San Diego, a nice Italian restaurant. After dinner she asked were I wanted to go I told her Sea Port Village. We got there and we walked around and have hot cocoa and cookies. It was not crowded except near Sally’s. I was so nervous and I was taking me a while, after a while she began to get cold and wanted to leave. I freaked out and asked if we could just walk by the water near that little park. We walk around the loop until we were alone and it was a little dark. I then went into my whole speech leading up to the big moment and then I hit the knee and asked. She began to cry and said "yes" ( she is not a crier so that was a surprise). Soon after her father called my cell, it's a long story, but he knew about it I had asked his blessing. After that we went back to hotel room( The Radisson) where I had champagne waiting. The night ended by watching the movie "Dickie Roberts" on pay per view. We had to watch a funny movie it had become tradition over the years. We always watch a funny movie when we spend the weekend in San Diego. It was a good night.
Since that night my life has become a world of stress and I can’t wait for the wedding to be over. |

I finally proposed to my GF this past Spring Break. Here's how I did it.
Since I knew we were going to Sedona on the Saturday, I quickly went to buy the ring to San Diego, cause I knew Sedona was an awsome place, and it would make it more special proposing there. We went to a place called Slide Rock National Park, which is a place with a stream and very beautiful scenary. We were there walking around with her cousins, then when everybody started to head back to the picnic area to start the carne asada, I told her to hold on, that I wanted to show her something. She told me " show me what, you've never been here before", I told her to chill out and to follow me. We walked to a secluded place next to the water where there was a rock that could be used as a chair, so I sat her there. I kneeled down and started telling her how much I loved her, bla bla bla, then I asked her if she wanted to be my wife and gave her the ring. |

So what did she say?!
I proposed in Dolores Park in SF, underneath the Miguel Hidalgo statue. VIVA MEXICO, CABRONES. |

3yrs into my relationship I started thinking of how I was going to propose, but then I broke up, now I don't have to worry about it. |
