It's that time of year. Spring Break. That entitles two things; Girls Gone Wild and some serious sun burns.
What do you guys/gals use for sun screen? Brand?
Once your nice and toasty like mars, what should one apply to a half baked member?
I use Banana Boat Aloe Vera Gel. It has worked wonders for years.
Happy tanning... |

| Like I told you before, your unnatural and excessive interest in all things tanning is very gay not to mention unhealthy. i can't believe you started a thread about this. in 20 years you're going to be starting a thread about what kind of radiation is best for your skin cancer. While I whole heartedly agree that Girls Gone Wild is a wonderful spring break tradition, sun burns are not. Get your tans without the burn and wear your sunscreen. |

I dont think he started this to talk about tanning. Living in the Imperial Valley it's only natural that you will get sun burned or tan without planning to do so. Luckly I only get darker. I dont hink I've every been sunburn |

No. I started this thread so members could share their knowledge on the topic.
For example, I've used Bull Frog suncreen and that works best if you are going to be in the water. Though it smells a little funny it holds up to ocean and the sun. While if one uses Banana Boat (smells better) but as soon as you hit the water you can see the suncreen leave your body.
I don't use any tanning lotions because they freak me out. |

When I picked up the worst sunburn I've ever had in my life, the natives recommended I use an aloe vera gel. They suggested that I keep it in the refrigerator so it's nice and cold. When I applied it on my sunburn, it felt awesome.
As for sunblock, I always say go with the highest SPF rating you can find. I normally buy Hawaiian Tropic with an SPF of 45 or higher. |
