| For those of you who may not know yet, the Voodoo Glow Skulls are scheduled to play in Mexicali April 2. I got to see them live twice and they sound pretty good live. They have not specified ticket prices or location yet. |

I've seen them twice before as well. The only reason I saw them the second time was because I got in for free.
I don't know who is organizing it this time around, so I doubt I can get free tickets again, so I probably won't go again.
They put on a good show, I'd recommend going if you hadn't gone before. |

I saw the Voodoo Glow Skulls play once at a new years show inside the San Diego Sports Arena in 1999. They put on a good show, but I think I wasn't into it much because I was looking forward to the other bands that were scheduled on a different stage (Descendents and The Queers).
It might have also been the fact that they changed their "raw" style from their first release to include more horns. I'm not a big fan of horn sections.
Overall, it should be a good show for any fans of ska punk. I'll most likely attend to represent Calecia.com.
Does anyone know who is putting this show together? |
