| For anyone interested in $.75 drafts, the lounge at the Quality Inn, where Holly's used to be, is opening up under new management, tonight. It starts at 5pm Monday, November 4. That's tonight! The new owners are very cool, so it's going to be a good place to hang out. See you there. |

So how is the place? Is it big/small, comfortable/uncomfortable (to sit or stand), good selection/bad selection (of beers).
I want to know. I've been looking for a decent place to drink here in the U.S. and Burgers and Beer sucks. |

But old management rocked.
I once got a Vodka Tonic, but Grey Goose Vodkae for under 3 bucks.
They also open the bottle in front of me. Chicali style.
Still, it's all about the beer.
Guinnes anyone.

It's small and comfortable. Lighting is really dim, so you have privacy. It doesn't get packed, at all. Everyone keeps to themselves.
Beer selection is not that grea, yet. We've been talking to the owners to see if they can add some more beers to the menu. We're trying to see if they can have Guiness, Newcastle, Fosters ain bottles and can, respectively. Currently only Bud Light is on tap, but you can't blame them, cause how many people would actually order Guiness on tap? They should at least have a few in bottles. I know they have XX Amber and Bohemia in bottles for only $3. But, domestics in bottle are $2.50 - too high.
You can't smoke, though. |
