I was checking out Calecia.com a few moments ago and saw a text advertisement* on the home page that really caught my attention. It was politcal ad for a presidential candidate named Chris P. Carrot.

At first glance, I thought it was comedian Carrot Top who was making the bid for presidency, but ended up clicking thru anyway. It turns out that there is a parody presidential candidate running that's not even a human being, but a vegetable.
Chris P. Carrot is a carrot. His running mate as vice presidential candidate is a corn named Colonel Corn. Very interesting stuff considering the whole thing is spearheaded as a publicity stunt by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
Anyway, it's humorous and Chris P. Carrot surely does have some issues that are too be taken seriously.
* Text advertisements on Calecia.com are provided by Google AdSense and are targeted towards it's viewers based on content. In my opinion, they sometimes add some interesting content to look at. |
