|
|
We realize that some of the members on Calecia.com are people who used to be native to the area. We also realize that some of these people live far away, and very rarely have a chance to come and visit their old hometown.
Since Calecia.com is also geared towards ex-natives of Calexico, and the rest of the Imperial Valley, we'd like to provide a new service which will hopefully remedy any nostalgia that some of you may have.
So if there's a place you'd like to see, i.e. favorite restaurant; old high school, old secret hangout spot, then maybe you should suggest it, and we might be able to take a picture of the location just to bring up some old memories.
However, this is also for the current natives as well. So if you live in the area and can think of any places which you feel are worth capturing on this site, then maybe you should suggest them as well.

Sure. As long as they are comparable to the quality that Calecia.com currently offers on Calecia.com Gallery.
Digital photograph requirements:
JPEG format with no (or very little) compression
640 X 480 or larger
72 DPI or higher
No scans (only under certain circumstances) |

There is no problem with you submitting your own pictures. The only thing is we don't want to promote La Chuki and El Dimple's "How Many Gang Signs Can You Throw" Birthday Party.
The pictures should be either tasteful, or really funny. |

So I guess that picture of my bare ass is out of the question.
I can think of some cool locations in Centro that I can photograph. |

We're also interested in photos of cool, unique, and/or historic places in Mexicali.
There is a lot to see in Mexicali, but it's just very difficult at times to find. |

The places that I speak of have no names. They are just locations.
Maybe:
The water Tower
The old post office is one location.
The old train station house.
