I just found out that Brujeria played at Forum (or whatever that place is called nowadays) in Mexicali this past Saturday. Why didn't I know this?! Why didn't any of you know this?!
I could have gotten drunk and sang along to Matando Gueros or La Migra, but no. Instead, I went to bed early. Jesus. |

I actually knew that Brujeria would be playing that day, but when I read a Dino Cardenas interview I thought that it would be mostly kids at the show. Dino Cardenas kept talking about how the music was for "all the Latino kids" He must've said "kids" around ten times in that interview. |

Well, well, well... This whole situation could have been avoided if someone would have informed Calecia.com of this event by sending e-mail to events@calecia.com with all the details enclosed. |

I passed thru Justo Sierra on Saturday night, at approximately 11:15 PM, and noticed the old Forum building was packed with people. There was absolutely no parking available.
There was a huge banner across the pillars that read, BRUJERIA.
It was much too late to try and even get in. |

Dino Cazares said that if the Mexicali show did good, they might schedule a second show soon after. |

I sure hope so, 'cause I would have definitely gone to that show.
Where did you find this information? On the Web? If so, pass the link along. |

I actually read the interview in the IV Press, but I couldn't find a link for it. |
