| This one lady from work who's husband works at the IID told me that they're opening an In & Out hamburger joint here in El Centro. She said it was going to be next to IHOP on 4th st. I was pretty happy to hear that, but at the same time it's gonna suck cause it's going to take out the joy of driving up to SD and stopping by In & Out to eat every time I go there. I'm sure I'm gonna end up hating that place after it opens here and I go there a few times, It wont be the same anymore. She also told me they're gonna open a Applebee's next to the new Jack in the Box by Walmart, which is probably gonna put the one in Calexico out of business. |

This is the best news I've heard in a long time. I don't think the In and Out will not take anything away from San Diego.
I'm most excited about the Applebee's. I always felt that El Centro was a better location. It will be less Chicalones to deal with. |

| I agree that El Centro is a better location for Applebee's than Chalecia because people from Imperial and Brawley can go there, plus all the people that work in El Centro that aren't from here. What I don't agree with is that too many chicalones go to the one in CLX, since the one in Mexicali is way nicer and bigger than the one in CLX. |

People who live in Mexicali are not Chicalones and I do I agree that the one in Mexicali would be nice. It is just that when I went to the one in Calexico I saw too many Chicalones being really annoying. That's what bothered me. |

I had never thought about that, and it's true. In & Out will never be the same again.
It's kind of like when I was a little kid, around 8-12. Carl's Jr. was the greatest thing in the world to me, since I hardly ever went to el centro. But now, it's like eh. |
