| Well I decided to stop at flames in El Centro to check it out. They have a good selection of punk cd's and dvd's. I happened to see that they had GG allin's hated DVD. I was thinking of whether to buy it or not. They tell me that it's pretty disturbing but then again I'm really curious to see it. Has anyone seen it?? If yes, please let me know how it is. |

I've only seen the about the first 60 minutes of the video in VCD format.
If you're a real G.G. Allin fan, then it's worth watching at least once. You can expect the usual from G.G. in this documentary-like film with acts such as him hurling his own feces onto the crowd, beating up the first row of scumfucks, and having a roadie fingerbang him outside of his last show. A few of his old high school old friends talk about his childhood too.
Unfortunately, I didn't and haven't yet seen the actually burial ceremony, but have seen pictures. He was buried practically naked with only a leather g-string/jockstrap and his terrible, but artful tattoos.
I used to have respect for G.G. Allin, but when he started making talk show appearances I realized that this legendary scum rocker was on a terrible decline. It appeared that he was trying to go to the extreme on national television, but he only ended up appearing like an idiot (at least to me).
Anyway, I recommend watching the video. I don't know if the pricing is right at this shop, but you can't really go wrong with the entertainment value it will bring. |

If you haven't heard it yet, you have to get your hands on a copy of one of G.G. Allin's all time best musical masterpieces, Carnival of Excess.
This collection of songs is not scum rock, punk rock, rock, nor pop. It is magnificently written and performed country music. It is what country music used to be and/or should be, performed by the world's most infamous scum rocker (and original shock rocker).
I was first enthralled by G.G.'s acoustic rendition of his classicly brutal self glorifying Blood For You. Ever since, I thirsted for more his acoustic work. When I discovered Carnival of Excess, I was set. |

Absolutely. I have a copy of Carnival of Excess (can't remember what number it is, but I'm sure it's one of the low numbers; somewhere in the one-hundreds) and it is, without a doubt, my favorite GG album.

You can find the acoustic version of Blood For You on the album Doctrine of Mayhem. |

So you prefer Hot Topic?
You need to give this local store some credit. It costs money to open one up and you need to sell the items in your inventory to stay in business. You can't expect them to carry a rare copy of an Angry Samoans record signed and pissed on by Metal Mike nor have the official Guitar Wolf leather jacket in stock every single day, only to have you walk in and continue to criticize them for not having the limited edition Sid Vicious - I Did It My Way CD single.
No music store has everything. Not even Amoeba Records or which ever "obscure" record store you might buy your "vinyl" at. |

Look, flames is not so bad. Their cd selection is pretty good. Come on, which other store in the valley would carry cds like Rudimentary Peni, GG's Hated in the Nation, Battalion of Saints, or The Best of Dr. Know? You have to give it some credit. And by the way, why the fuck would I lie about seeing GG's Hated there and post it on Calecia.com? |

hot topic lol It's as lame as flames. Flames ain't got shit. I admit, it was a good idea to open it. Since there is a bunch of stupid little kids trying to be "punk". Emo or hardcore call it whatever. Shit, If i had a misfits store i would make millions right now. Still, You want real music? you have the internet. Guarantee to find anything u want i mean anything. Flames hehehe what a joke. |
