I've tried those and they are pretty good. "Guerrero" makes some of those raw tortillas, too. |

Yeah, those probably are the best corn tortilla's you can buy in this region. |
We rarely get corn tortillas, but when we do we usually get a shitload of fresh ones in Mexicali. |

Anyone can buy tortillas in Mexicali, but I think this thread is talking about store bought tortillas. Anyways when we buy Mexicali corn tortillas we have to freeze them and they get to dry and hard when we reheat them. |

The other night I ate some bean tacos at my parents' house with La Buena corn tortillas. They were pretty good and have been around as far as I can remember.
I always remembered them not by the name, but by the illustration of a lady with a chip/tortilla in her hand. I think the packaging said they were made in Sonora or Arizona. I don't remember clearly because I was buzzing. |
