in a presidential election i don't really think it counts, but on a more local level it really does.

Dude, do you even think before you post? How can you say that a vote doesn't really count in a presidential election? The last presidential election was decided by a little over 500,000 votes across the country, and Gore won New Mexico by less than 400 votes. Believe me, each vote counts.

I am guilty of not voting in the last election, but I plan to register for the next. I believe that if everyone unites a different outcome can come out of the next election. I value El Christs effort to inform everyone because only a few people now choose who will rule everyone. That explains why a rich white republican is our president right now. I hope you continue with your efforts Thumbs Up

Oh, and just for you I toned down the colors

It figures that the city decided to keep the most corrupt councilman in office.

John R. Renison?

What type of corruption has he been accused of? Out of all the candidates, I honestly felt that he appeared to be the most competent.

I totally agree, unless he's a really good liar. Either way, both traits would make him fully qualified to be a politician.

if it wasn't for his lack of leadership, calexico would have expanded the iv campus of sdsu. he works for sdsu, and he did nothing to try to keep it here when the university was looking for the move. he didn't make a move until the story broke. he could have kept the extension here, but he didn't.
