Using that as your argument, then you must be a loser, since you've never been "Teacher of the Year".

Come on man, only 1 team gets to win, does that mean that all the other 30 + teams suck? NO

Winning is the only thing.

I wonder if Roberto Baggio is happy with his second place finish in the World Cup (94). Especially, after he missed his penalty shot in the 'penales'.

Look stats and awards don't mean shit. Again, do you think Roberto Baggio is content or happy with his Fifa player of the year in 1994? No. He's a loser. He fuckin chocked. Best player in the world and he missed his penalty shot, weak.

Dan Marino, great competitor and passer, but not a winner. He never won a Super Bowl. On the other hand Joe Montana won 4 rings. Now that's a winner.

Maybe that's America's problem. They play for second place. All that talent, and no heart. You call that a winner.

No you're bringing politics? Stick to one subject.

Look, it's okay to admit defeat. Let me put it as simple as possible. It's like washing your car. Then waxing it, but only to forget to clean the windows.

The 8 teams chosen to play the Pre-Libertadores were chosen because they were the 8 teams with the best records in the last 2 seasons, america was 3rd place. Let's also not forget that America won the championship in 2002, how soon you forget. America is the team with the 2nd most championships in Mexico with 9. Just cause they had a dry spell for 12 years before winning a championship again in 2002, doesn't mean that the organization sucks. Tigres is a great organization, and they have 20 something years without winning a championship. I agree with you that Televisa does help out America, but NO SHIT !, they are the owners. Doesn't George Steinbrenner (or however you spell it) do the Yankees "paros" ?

they didn't win this year. the two top teams should go. america wasn't even in the ligia. they don't deserve to go. the only reason for this tournament (1st year) is because televisa bitched about their bread and butter not going. hell, they are funding this tournament. mexican soccer has just sunk below the mls. corruption is alive there as long as america keeps getting by only because of the name sake.

America, Chivas, Pumas... who gives a shit? It's the Copa Libertadores, so any Mexican team that makes it into this South American cup should be fully supported.

Although America is kicking some ass and so is Santos.

i don't care. if america goes to the libertadores, i hope they get the living shit beat out of them. i will support a columbian team before i support America. fuck them
