Since about a week ago they have been anouncing the coming of ESPN Deportes on January the 7th on the regular ESPN. I got all excited cause finally I could see LMP baseball games and my beloved soccer from Spain and Mexico. I called Adelphia just to make sure that we would be getting that channel here, and they burst my bubble telling me that the Imperial Valley will not be getting that channel. Wednesday came along, and there I was sadly laying down watching TV cause the day that I had so anxiously waited for came and we had no ESPN Deportes. 11pm came along and I was changing the channels and WHAM !! there it was, Sportscenter in spanish on ESPN Deportes (ch. 1Cool. After Sportcenter finished at 11:30pm, the regular ESPN2 programming continued. Has anybody heard anything about this? Are they just gonna show the Sportcenters in spanish? It was awsome to see soccer highlights on Sportcenter in spanish, the commercials were in spanish also, I really loved the one where Ronaldo came out, pretty awsome.

Foxsports deportes does a pretty good job of showing highlights. Plus, nothing will ever beat Acción. Still, its good to see ESPN step up.

no, i'm saying that they wanna plug this new service that they have. it's up to the viewers to dmand the channel. if enough people ask for it, i'm sure that adelphia will put it on.

espn did the same thing when espn2 came out...and when espnnews came out.
