After seeing the Doyle/Danzig reunion with the hour-long Misfits set (twice), I think I've seen the closest thing to an actual Misfits reunion.

Chicali punks are full of angst.
This seems like bullshit to me. How much more violent than past shows could this have been? I got punched right in the face and got a bloody nose back when Tijuana No played back in 98. At that same show, some guy got his ass kicked for being in the slam pit with a knife. No fucking joke. And that show didn't get cancelled.
If there was real violence, a riot would have ensued as a result of the cancellation. I think Jerry Only was having too good a time at Miau Miau, and probably just didn't show. |
