Brunswick Zone XL opened up last week in El Centro. I haven't had a chance to check it out yet, but I was hoping someone on here had and could give us a rundown of what to expect. Is it "state-of-the-art" bowling with 3D, holograms, flying objects and all sorts of crazy crap or similar to Bol Bol in Mexicali?
What's pricing like? Bol Bol can get expensive, so if Brunswick is around the same ballpark then it may become an alternative for Calecianos. |

| I took my wife and kid the other day. For one hour of bowling ($14.99) and three shoes rentals ($3.99 a piece), I got out of there spending $27. It wasn't bad, but I couldn't afford to do that more than once every couple of weeks, maybe once a month. But damn, it's a nice place. |

Yeah, that's not too bad. Bol Bol is a little bit less. I don't remember how much the shoes are, but BB just gets expensive when the caguamas start flowing. |

| I did buy two drinks. And those were real pricey. One 16-ounce Buf Light draught was $3.75 and one (smallish) Bloody Mary was $5.50. |

It definitely isn't as busy as it was in the summer. |
